Three brothers of missing Hawkins County girl removed from home by CPS
The father of missing Hawkins County girl Summer Wells has confirmed the couple’s three boys have been removed from the home by child protective services.
Don Wells told the Kingsport Times-News the state picked up the juveniles last week but he did not specify if it was related to the case that continues to be tracked by the TBI and other agencies.
“Right now, it’s not safe at my house,” Wells told reporter Jeff Bobo.
Wells also told the publication that various strangers have been coming to their home in the Beech Creek community at different hours of the day and night to confront them about Summer’s whereabouts or to offer help.
Summer has not been seen since she was in the family home backyard on June 15.
