Governor Lee says push back is being prepped for Biden administration on possible COVID restrictions
With Tennessee identified as a COVID hot spot once again, some analysts are predicting a potential step by federal health officials to place restrictions on states once again.
In an interview from Nashville, Governor Bill Lee says he is not concerned about any pandemic directives from the Biden administration when it comes to keeping residents safe.
“We will push back and we will talk back,” Lee said. “When they tell us what to do, we will tell them what we’re going to do. …States don’t comply because they don’t have to constitutionally and I’m not scared of that or worried about it. I’m just prepared for it.”
