Johnson City woman behind bars for committing arson

A Johnson City woman is behind bars on felony charges after police say she committed arson. JCPD was called to the area of 2419 Melbourne Drive, off of East Oakland Avenue, in reference to a fire. Officers, as well as local fire agencies, responded and extinguished the blaze.

An investigation revealed that the fire was incendiary and intentionally set. 57-year-old Donna Susan Collins of Johnson City was arrested for arson and taken to the Washington County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
