Report: Inmate at Washington County, Tennessee Jail charged with introduction of contraband
An inmate at the Washington County, Tennessee Detention Center now has additional charges after police found drugs in her possession. 32-year-old Chelsey Taylor of Johnson City was in a court holding cell awaiting to appear in court on unrelated charges when officers noticed her displaying suspicious behavior.
When deputies approached her they saw she was attempting to conceal something wrapped in plastic. After taking the item from her, officers discovered what is believed to be meth and other narcotics. Chelsey Taylor’s bond was raised from $5,000 to $22,000 and she now has additional charges, which include introduction of contraband into a penal facility, possession of a schedule II substance, and other related charges.
