Virginia medical marijuana patients no longer required to register with state

Medical marijuana patients in Virginia are no longer required to register with the Board of Pharmacy after a bill signed by Governor Youngkin went into effect on July 1st. House Bill 933 removes this requirement, as well as the 60-day waiting period, and patients now only need a written certification from a registered practitioner for medical cannabis.
Proof of registration with the Virginia Board of Pharmacy is no longer required at dispensaries. Patients only need to show their written certification and their ID to purchase medical marijuana in the Commonwealth. More information here.
