Turkey Trot returns for 18th year

A Thanksgiving holiday tradition enters its 18th year, with the 18th annual “up & at em Turkey Trot 5k” in Johnson city. The 5k has become an iconic event that has been called “the place to be Thanksgiving day”. This is the largest in the Tri Cities area, and has become a homecoming or family tradition with over 4,000 participants expected Thursday morning at 8:30. There will be changed traffic patterns along some downtown Johnson City Streets Thanksgiving morning.
