Former Austin Peay, Charlotte head coach Will Healy selected as next football coach at ETSU
Former Austin Peay and Charlotte coach Will Healy has been selected as the next head football coach for East Tennessee State University, according to several published reports including CBS Sports.
Healy, 39, was the running backs coach at Georgia State this season and turned the program around while at Austin Peay with eight wins in his first year after the school had just one win in the four years previous.
Healy is an East Tennessee native playing quarterback at Chattanooga’s Boyd-Buchanan. He replaces Tre Lamb who left Johnson City for Tulsa earlier this week.
