Man charged with shooting JCPD officer has bail revoked

A man charged with attempted first-degree murder after allegedly shooting a Johnson City Police Department officer appeared in court Thursday. Timothy Blair, who has been of of jail on bond, saw his bail revoked. The decision was based on Blair’s extensive criminal history. An officer with the JCPD was shot in the South Barton Street area earlier this month. Blair, who allegedly fired the shot, was out on bond at the time of the shooting. Blair’s next court appearance is scheduled for June 19.
