Marcus Brooks was born in Kingsport, Tennessee and has lived in the Tri-Cities region his entire life. Marcus grew up with a passion for radio broadcasting and eventually enrolled and graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in Mass Communications. In 2007, Marcus signed on at WXBQ for the first time and has been with the radio station since. He now hosts the midday show in the air shift formerly occupied by the now-retired Reggie Neel. In his free time, Marcus enjoys traveling, going to ETSU football and basketball games, and watching NASCAR events. Marcus has one son Ryan, who is 8 years old.
