Appeals panel upholds Henderson Motorsports’ disqualification by NASCAR following Daytona

Abingdon based Henderson Motorsports lost its case with the National Motorsports Appeal Panel—upholding their disqualification by NASCAR last week following the team’s win in the Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Henderson’s Chevrolet failed post race inspection after officials said the truck driven by Parker Kligerman was too low in the back on both sides.

A statement from Henderson Motorsports said they respect the panel’s decision. The next event for that team is the truck race at Bristol in April.
