Ballad Health says phase 1 of cancer center expansion complete

The expansion of Ballad Health’s Cancer Care Center in Johnson City is closer to being complete. Ballad Health announced that construction of Phase 1 of the project is complete. That means new patient rooms and physician offices. And also expanding the in-house pharmacy and registration area at the center. The next phase of construction will expand the infusion center by adding two chemotherapy wings that will include 32 infusion chairs and six private rooms. The expansion is expected to be completed in spring of 2025.
