Big Stone bicycle rider died in Highway 58 crash
A Big Stone Gap man has died after a collision involving his bicycle.
The preliminary details released by the Virginia State Police said 18-year-old Skylar McMahan was traveling west on Route 58 when he was rear-ended by a pickup truck driven by Dustin Holman, 32, of Wise.
McMahan was pronounced dead at the scene. Holman was cited for reckless driving.
The crash remains under investigation.
