Continued Brown Hall improvements part of ETSU’s state budget funding allotment

East Tennessee State University has plans for millions of dollars approved in the 2025-26 state budget for improvements on the Johnson City campus.
A report from the school says the funding package’s biggest project is phase II of updates and construction at Brown Hall–the institution’s home for science-based curriculum– that has a $48 million price tag.
The funding also includes $5 million for state of the art updates at the Quillen College of Medicine and $2.3 million for the maintenance of other buildings.
Thanks to @GovBillLee and the Tennessee General Assembly, #ETSU has secured nearly $60 million in state support.https://t.co/CYlfPyhodT#BucsGoBeyond pic.twitter.com/gecdjBvOIo
