Dollywood prepares for Fall celebrations

With Labor Day weekend signaling the unofficial end of summer, opening day of Dollywood’s Harvest Festival and Great Pumpkin LumiNights is right around the corner. Among the 12,000 pumpkins used in the park, this year will again showcase several colossal pumpkins grown by the Edwards family from Virginia. Also, more than 1,100 live performances take place during the festival and a family favorite is back again: The Great Pumpkin LumiNights, which will get larger this year with 10 ride-themed pumpkin displays. Also this year there will be many new culinary offerings. Dollywood’s fall celebrations official begin Monday, September 9th.
