Gas Prices creep up last week in VA

Average gasoline prices in Virginia have continued to increase, rising 0.8 cents per gallon in the last week according to GasBuddy’s survey of stations in Virginia. The average price stands at $2.88/g. Prices in Virginia are 4.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 9.9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The latest GasBuddy price report says the cheapest station in Virginia was priced at $2.45/g while the most expensive was $3.99/g. The national average price of gasoline average is $2.98/g.
