I-26 stopped for several hours due to downed power lines
A portion of Interstate 26 near the Rock Springs Road exit was closed for three hours on Wednesday after a vehicle is thought to have hit a utility pole, causing several downed power lines. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says power lines were found across the eastbound lanes of I-26 near mile marker six around 6:40 a.m. Additional lines were hanging above the interstate. The vehicle responsible for hitting the pole and lines did not stop.
