Kingsport standoff ends with two arrests
Two men are in custody in Kingsport after a city police report said one of the suspects violated a court order when he entered a home in the 1300 block of Lawndale Circle.
Jason Gibson, 49, barricaded himself on the property using a 2×4 to close off the main entrance. Three hours later, Kingsport police said Gibson surrendered without incident.
The other suspect, 42-year-old Jason Robinson, was found hiding in the home’s attic and was charged with criminal trespassing and resisting arrest.
