Marion Downtown Organization receives 27th consecutive Main Street America accreditation

The Marion Downtown organization is dedicated to advancing and sustaining quality of life for businesses in the Town of Marion. This year marks the 27th consecutive year that the organization was named an Accredited Main Street America program, solidifying the work put into bettering the town.

To achieve Main Street America accreditation, organizations must meet performance standards that include support for small businesses and building sustainable town-revitalization programs. Marion officials say they are proud of downtown businesses and are excited for what’s to come.

“We are so proud of every one of our downtown business family,” said Marion Downtown President Rex Anders. “Together, we’ve weathered many storms, and we continue to enjoy record levels of storefronts filled and new businesses starting, along with growing our existing businesses. And we are so excited at things yet to come!”
