No injuries in Saturday accident involving Johnson City activity bus with students on board

The THP says a woman has been charged with due care after crashing into the back of a Johnson City Schools activity bus on Saturday. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said in a crash report the bus was stopped in the left turning lane, attempting to pull into the Kingsport Shopping Pavilion on East Stone Drive, when a vehicle traveled into the turning lane and hit the back of the bus. The activity bus was carrying 15 juvenile passengers and no injuries were reported in the accident. The driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman from Virginia, was charged with due care.
