Rocky Fork State Park reopens 6 months after Hurricane damage

Six months after Hurricane Helene, Lamar Alexander Rocky Fork State Park is reopened. The storm brought significant flooding and wind damage to the park. In addition to the flooding, strong winds and multiple landslides caused massive destruction across the park’s 2000 acres. With the debris cleaned up, the park has nearly 19 miles of mapped and marked trails, campsites, fishing, mountain biking and rock climbing, all ready for a visit.
