TDOC: Two deaths from COVID-19 reported at Northeast Correctional Complex
Two more COVID-19 deaths are being reported at Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City.
A Tennessee Dept. of Corrections spokesperson confirmed that in a statement issued to us Monday, bringing the correctional complex’s death toll from the virus to four.
The latest update regarding total cases in inmates and staff includes 233 positive coronavirus cases in inmates, while total positive case are reported at 122 in staff as of Oct. 7. TDOC’s COVID-19 dashboard can be viewed by clicking here.
