THP: Two airlifted to hospital in Monday crash in Rogersville

Two people were taken to the hospital following a head-on crash Monday in Rogersville.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol crash report says the accident happened just after 7:30 a.m on Highway 113 near Bacon Rd. when a Ford Expedition, driven by Randy Mayes, 44, of Whitesburg, TN, was traveling north and crossed the center line, striking a Chevy Impala driven by Betsy Fleemon, 49, of Bulls Gap, TN, head-on. Both Mayes and Fleemon were flown to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

Their conditions are unknown as of Wednesday, and no charges have been filed according to THP.
