TRAFFIC ALERT: Sewer line replacement project starting Tuesday at Sycamore Shoals State Park

A sewer line replacement project is scheduled to get underway Tuesday at Sycamore Shoals State Park in Elizabethton.

The project will require the closure of the park’s west entrance but will not affect the main entrance adjacent to Sycamore Shoals Hospital. The line replacement will also require road closures at Dixon St. and Parkway Blvd. between West G St. and Elk Ave., where traffic will be detoured.

Construction and road closures in the area will remain in effect until completion of the project.
