U.S. Forest Service begins power line project in Wise County

The U.S. Forest Service has started work on rebuilding power lines in the Clinch Ranger District in Wise County, Virginia. Forest Service officials says the project began Monday and involves repairing and replacing transmission lines to enhance resilience. The project is anticipated to continue until the end of August. Visitors to the Clinch Ranger District to exercise caution near power lines, particularly in the vicinity of Dark Hollow Trail.
