Washington County Sheriff’s Office welcomes two new K-9 officers
The Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office has two new officers that are ready to literally take a bite out of crime. Phoenix and Karma are the department’s newest K-9 officers; they are 18 week old German Shepherd puppies.
Officials say their training will happen in-house, and will begin with local school visits to help them socialize with the public. The puppies will be trained to serve as detection dogs. To see what Karma and Phoenix are up to, visit the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook.
